Tonight is the Sweetheart Dance at the high school. It is a girl's choice dance, so the girls get to plan the evening. It is also slightly formal, so Tori need a new dress- can't wear the same one as last year (gasp!) Actually she said she would, but I have so much free time these days I thought I would be brave. I made her dress and wonder of wonders- it turned out great. And miracle of miracles- she likes it! I don't usually pick out clothes for Miss Tori. She is a little bit picky. But she 
was out of town for a school function and I got the stuff to make this dress. We like the godets- don't ask us how to pronounce it though.

don't have a picture of the whole group. But this is half the group, Lisa and Gage. Since this is a Tori post I will tell about a couple recent "way-to-go's". She took the ACT a couple of weeks ago and got an impressive score- 31. She applied to go to something called Girl's State and got accepted. She will receive college credit and get to spend a week at Southern Utah University learning about local and state government. They chose 5 girls from her school. She is working hard to get all her credits done to be able to walk for graduation.
